About

Picture

I’m Becky — a dual-qualified Chartered Physiotherapist for both humans and animals, holding a First-Class Honours degree and a Distinction at Masters level in Veterinary Physiotherapy from the University of Liverpool.
What sets me apart isn’t a list of techniques — it’s my hands, my brain, and a deep commitment to seeing the whole picture. I blend a scientifically grounded, biomechanical approach with clinical intuition and years of practical experience to create tailored, effective treatment plans. My goal? To help horses, riders, dogs, and people move better, feel better, and perform at their best.
No gimmicks. No flashy promises. Just real, results-driven physiotherapy rooted in movement analysis, skilled hands-on therapy, and a deep respect for every individual I treat.

My Approach Is:
  • Analytical – I don’t just treat symptoms; I seek out root causes.
  • Practical – I combine hands-on techniques with realistic, effective rehab strategies.
  • Honest – I’ll tell you what your horse or body truly needs, even if it takes time and hard work.
  • Collaborative – I work alongside owners, riders, trainers, vets, and other professionals to get the best outcomes.

Why “Engage” Physiotherapy?
The name reflects my core philosophy — whether it’s core stability, pelvic control, mental focus, or muscular activation, real change begins when you engage with your body. I bring that ethos into every session, whether I’m helping a Lusitano in collected work or a dog recovering from surgery.

Specialist Experience Includes:
  • Human and rider performance physiotherapy, including training with elite professionals like Andy Thomas (TESTT®), Tom Goom (The Running Physio), John Annan (Myofascial Release specialist)
  • Veterinary physiotherapy training with world-class clinicians including Rachel Greetham (Team GB), Kate Stephens, and Dr. Heli Hyytiäinen (University of Helsinki, Finland)
  • Advanced techniques in myofascial release, acupuncture, rehabilitation, and biomechanical assessment — including work with runners and complex neurological cases

Professional Memberships:
  • Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP)
  • Registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Category A Member of ACPAT (Chartered Animal Physiotherapist)

I’m based in Cheshire and cover surrounding Counties, working with horses, humans and dogs who are ready for more than a quick fix. If you’re looking for honest, grounded, results-focused physio, I’d love to help.

Fully registered and insured to treat both humans and animals.
